Criminal Law

John Sullivan heads up our criminal law practice and has over 35 years representing clients in contested hearings, pleas and bail applications in the Magistrates' Court and County Court. We provide our clients with clear and honest advice during a challenging time in their lives.

We are on the Indictable Crime Panel and Summary Crime Panel for Victorian Legal Aid and where possible we obtain legal aid to act on your behalf. Where legal aid is not available we offer fixed fees to clients.

We have significant experience handling all types of matters including the following:

  • Driving, drink driving and traffic offences;
  • Dishonesty, theft and fraud offences;
  • Drug offences;
  • Firearms offences;
  • Intervention orders;
  • Proceeds of crime;
  • Sexual assault offences;
  • Violence offences; and
  • Worksafe prosecutions.

We also assist victims of crime in applications for compensation to the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal.
